Calling all glow paddle enthusiasts!
This tour is yet another innovative activity from Triad ECO Adventures, where it is always about you!
Enjoy sunset glow paddling with Triad ECO Adventures. As you might imagine, this activity is reserved for the most experienced stand-up paddlers (limited to eight in a group), with some certified SUP skills instruction (safety first) or proven knowledge/experience. We cannot teach you in the dark!
We get set up with equipment and lights and introduce you to the area just before sunset. Please use the restroom before you head our way since there are no facilities available at this location. After hitting the water together, we glide over potentially choppy lake water (quite clear and warm) around a point and into a cove. We then paddle a little farther into a lake neighborhood, all while checking out underwater life and laughing and having a great time glow paddling into the darkness together.
Bring your own SUP and gear or all can be hauled/rented (+$20). You can use a portion of your SUP Glow Paddle excursion as credit toward a glowing light equipment package purchase (within 60 days, non-sale/clearance). Groups of four or more are preferred, so call or convince some neighbors, friends, coworkers, church members or family to join you!

Salem Lake: GPS address to use is 1001 Salem Lake Rd, Winston-Salem (27107). As you drive through the Park’s entrance gate (going straight), park your vehicle immediately to the left but notice the sandy beach immediately to the right at water’s edge.
Belews Lake: Please meet at the Piney Bluff Access Area. The best GPS address to use is 8651 Belews Creek Rd, Belews Creek, NC 27009.
Oak Hollow Lake:We are located at the Oak Hollow Marina at 3431 N Centennial St, High Point, NC 27265. This High Point venue requires a $4 launch fee to first be paid at their office, where rest/change-rooms are also located (or you can buy a season’s pass).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and sign your waiver. We can’t wait for late arrivals. Wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting wet (recommend a bathing suit underneath, as we will be in and upon the water). You should also bring a towel and a change of clothes, just in case. But keep in mind there likely is not a place to change, so it’s best to come dressed in what you plan to wear.
