Explore downtown Winston-Salem on this pedal-assist e-BIKE tour! These state-of-the-art beauties feature easy gear shifting, hydraulic disc brakes, and power pedal-assistance, all to give you an easy, smooth experience uphill or down.
We go even farther for your Downtown Loop Tour. We pedal from the beautiful Greenway around historic Old Salem and over to the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, Winston-Salem’s community-wide effort to renovate and rejuvenate downtown into a technological and cultural hub. Enjoy learning about the many buildings that have been repurposed into contemporary businesses, museums and even restaurants and retail spaces. Then we circle downtown according to festivals and traffic. Our whole tour is narrated by your e-bike tour guide.
Your USA-built e-bikes help you pedal up our many hills and thrills! Our roundtrip tours include bike orientation, helmet rental, lots of laughs, and a better understanding of Winston-Salem.
Please note: Tour guide gratuities are also not included.
Riders must wear flat, closed-toe shoes, like sneakers or tennis shoes (no flip-flops, sandals, high heels, etc.), and dress for the day’s weather. Helmets must be worn – riders are welcome to bring their own or we will provide one. We recommend bringing along a water bottle and sunscreen.
Absolutely NO alcohol or drugs before your ride, nor medication that may affect your balance or good judgment.
There are no snacks or beverages included, although we can make a brief coffee stop during the tour.
There is free parking available in the parking lot that is shared with the YWCA just across the street.
