This local heritage tour explores some of the Triad’s most incredible iconic sights in partnership with Triad Culture Arts during the National Black Theater Festival. A unique opportunity off the beaten path including visitation to North Carolina’s oldest standing African-American church where the end of slavery was announced, a John-Biggers mural scavenger hunt, enslaved and freedmen graveyards, Historic neighborhoods, and multiple museums.
