Pilo Auction

Reagan High School created and hosts an annual Spike Leukemia match, a benefit for the For Katie’s Sake Fund at the Winston-Salem Foundation.

The mission of the Forsyth County Department of Public Health is to prevent disease and promote a healthy community through regulation, education, and partnerships. One of the charity benefits we participated in and donated to was their Fit Forsyth tracking program!

The Piedmont Earth Day Fair is the largest Earth Day celebration and one-day environmental education event in the region. Thanks to the support of our sponsors and community partners, the Piedmont Earth Day Fair is a FREE event including free parking, free admission, free activities and free entertainment throughout the day. Program partners will provide workshops and demonstrations throughout the day, and many activities will be geared toward inspiring and engaging children in learning about sustainability.

Hidden Stables: Rehab Restrain Rehome

Hidden K Horse Rescue is a cause we stand behind! Owned and operated by BHS (British Horse Society) qualified riding instructor and trainer Michelle Hargreaves, Hidden K Stables offers quality horse boarding & care, training, riding instruction, and excellent fun learning and working with horses. We are also the home of the Wake Forest University Equestrian Teams and the Salem College Equestrian Team.

Crop Hunger Walk: Ending Hunger One Step At a Time

Join the original Walk event in the United States! Fight hunger globally and in your local community.

All of the money raised from the Winston Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk is used to support hunger alleviation programs. Money raised is split between 3 organizations. 75% goes to Church World Service and 25% stays in Forsyth County and is used by the Crisis Control Ministry and Sunnyside Ministry to help our neighbors in need.

The key to student success is the quality of the educators, but recruiting and retaining quality educators are two of the greatest challenges a school district faces.

The Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools have teamed up to provide on-going discounts and/or other incentives to school system employees. TEA is proud to support teachers!
